“Be Active, Be Well” was presented officially to the public!

The platform for empowering youth and youth workers to integrate physical activity within youths’ daily lives has been presented to the public during the project’s final event.

PRESENTING THE PLATFORM TO THE PUBLIC

Partners presented the SUPPORT. platform in the wider public during the project’s final event that was organised in Athens on 2nd September 2025 in the premises of the Greek partner “The Smile of the Child”.

During the event, the project coordinator from SIRIUS (HR) presented the project’s outputs and results and a reprsentative from the technical partner, 8D Games, navigated the platform online, focusing on the platform’s functionality and the way youth and youth workers may take the most out of it!

Moreover, a round table discussion was organised with professionals of various disciplines in order to explore the connection between physical activity and physical/mental health and discuss suggested ways to strengthen the body and mind.

A sports trainer, a clinical dietitian-nutritionist, a yoga instructor, a psychologist and a YOUSMILE volunteer presented the value of physical activity under their perspective and provided insights on how they view the holistic approach that combines physical and mental health to the concept of well-being.

FINAL PROJECT MEETING

The final project meeting took place in Athens, Greece on 3rd September 2025. Partners reviewed the project activities and the final outputs and defi ned the pending activities until the end of the project duration. They also discussed about the planned mutliplier events in Germany, Croatia and the Netherlands to be organised by the end of the project in order to disseminate the project results. As a result of their fruitful collaboration, partners expressed their will to renew their cooperation in the future.

PARTNERSHIP

The project is implemented in 4 EU countries: Croatia, Germany, Greece and the Netherlands by 5 partners. BABW is coordinated by Centar SIRIUS (HR) and its duration is 24 months, starting from November 2023. Project Partners defi ned the work plan and activities during the kick off meeting that took place in Zagreb on 4 & 5 December 2023.
